Since 2000, I continue to develop and test as the new OEM platforms arrive. Being a one man show with a part time helper, some kits take me a long time to develop however with a lot of tuning buddies who always want to go test, I always get the kits working the best they can be before being commissioned for sale.
My goal is to produce a clutch calibration that is reliable and gives great results - all based on what the operator likes.
Other than this page here, you'll never read or hear me spout off my experiences to try & get a point across. You won't see me watching which way the wind blows while saying "this or that is required"...or, "get your the flavor of the week here".
There are good reasons for limiting my own capacity...
1] I know what I'M capable of doing honestly
2] Knowing theory
3] I don't steal setups by duplication and vindicate with the disclaimer "oh but that's the way the business is, don't take it personal"
....bah!
So, I'll just like to keep my mouth shut and listen...and watch...and I touch a little on that in the Foreward page in the Clutching IQ tab.
Being an individual that values privacy dearly, You'll probably never read of any names I've helped or correspond with. I didn't even want to write this "about joe" but the web designer said "its professionalism" Since I'm a vengeful belligerent s.o.b., my part time helper "older sister" wrote this "About me" for me.
I just rather show you what I know by trading information on how to learn "what really matters" when you need to calibrate.
There are a number of considerations when calibrating to achieve the result of power to the ground, response, reliability, and proper matching to your applications. I could start out writing here about each element of the system but that could fill an entire book. Instead, I'm just gonna touch on a bunch of selected elements located in this website in hopes of stimulating your curiosity.
I would like to thank all the people who contact me over the years and some of the nice things y'all have to say make me choke up sometimes. I hope the information here can repay all of you.
