S6X (600) Clutch Kit 'Primer'
This 600 PRIMER is a small introductory to start you on your way to a great clutch kit.
Recommend to break in sled prior to kit installation and get past brainbox breakin timing setting.
My kit provides a great selection of helix angles that provide high belt clamp forces to keep belt temperatures down.
The tuner's task:
You will change the flyweight mass [if needed] to achieve:
Calibrate with a brand new belt is a MUST!
Not much to do otherwise than change the flyweight mass to suit rpms.
Once calibrated when snow gets deep and there is bumps, this is where the clutch kit really shines...more the clutches get loaded, the farther you'll be away in mph from stock. When the snow is very deep you'll still enjoy an engine that is right there responsive to your thumb tip and have great acceleration to boot.

S8X (800) Clutch Kit 'Primer'

Stick with stock gearing when calibrating.

Calibrate kit with stock gearing and get it to run the way you like before gearing changes as some tuners like to do.
With low clutch temperatures you can count on efficient clutching that offers incredible upshift and backshift compared to stock.
If you ride hard, im guessing a little corner to corner/point shoot then. Heh, this will surely put a smile on the face.
You will remove stock primary spring, the tra roller pins and secondary helix out.
You will install the S6X kit primary spring, a set of Daltonpro Stainless heavy threadable pins, the supplied Purple secondary spring and the S6X helix.
Move clicker to #4 and install 24.5 gram slugs in the tra roller pins.
Go test.
600HO/SDI @ 8050~8100 "TACH RPMS" to reach the desired actual 8000 rpms the engine has best power at.
With 24.5 grams installed, engagement should be 4200 rpms.
Need more rpms?...reduce the flyweight mass.
Need less rpms?...increase the flyweight mass.
This kit has the capacity to do with 1/2 gram increments.
Against a similar fitness stock 800; You should be able to push off the line an immediate 2~3 lengths and accelerate away to top end by 5~6 lengths or more.

Won't be a stock F7 that'll touch you and should have no problem fending off 900 Cats/Pol's to 90+ mph with them only barely creeping by...if they can.

Move clicker to #3 and install 25 gram slugs in the tra roller pins.
